Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of TicketSaver, including Gmail Connect and automatic email forwarding.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the TicketSaver mobile application (“App”) and related services. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.


Service Description

TicketSaver is a personal ticket storage and organization tool. Depending on the features you use, TicketSaver may allow you to:

  • Store event or travel tickets and related files.
  • Import files such as PDFs or images.
  • Forward emails and attachments to TicketSaver for automated ticket detection and processing.
  • Optionally connect a Google Account to set up Gmail forwarding and Gmail filters through Gmail Connect.
  • Use free or Premium subscription features.

TicketSaver is not an event organizer, ticket issuer, ticket marketplace, reseller, payment service, or identity verification service.


Service Limits

TicketSaver may apply technical and product limits to keep the App stable, fast, and easy to use. These limits may apply to free and Premium users unless stated otherwise.

  • Each folder or event group can contain a maximum of 20 tickets or ticket files.
  • This limit is intended to improve performance, reduce accidental oversized imports, and keep ticket groups manageable.
  • You can store more tickets by creating multiple folders or event groups.
  • TicketSaver may change technical limits if needed for performance, security, abuse prevention, or product quality.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the App. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account unless caused by our breach or failure.


License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and applicable law.


User Content

You retain ownership of the tickets, files, emails, attachments, and other content you provide to TicketSaver (“User Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, store, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the right to upload, forward, store, and process the User Content you provide, and that doing so does not violate law, confidentiality obligations, or third-party rights.


Gmail Connect and Automatic Email Forwarding

Description

Gmail Connect is an optional feature that helps you configure Gmail forwarding and Gmail filters so certain messages can be automatically forwarded to your personal TicketSaver upload address.

No Gmail API reading of inbox content

TicketSaver does not use the Gmail API to read the content of your inbox messages. TicketSaver processes ticket-related content only from emails and attachments that are actually forwarded to your TicketSaver upload address, whether automatically or manually.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for deciding whether to enable Gmail Connect.
  • You are responsible for reviewing your Gmail forwarding configuration and filter behavior.
  • You must ensure that you are allowed to forward the emails and attachments you send to TicketSaver.
  • You must not use TicketSaver to forward confidential, regulated, or third-party content unless you are authorized to do so.

Important forwarding disclaimer

Email filters are not perfect. Gmail or other providers may forward messages that are broader than intended. TicketSaver may then automatically classify those messages as not relevant and decline to store them as tickets, but the initial forwarding may already have occurred. You accept that this risk is inherent to email forwarding workflows.

Disconnecting Gmail Connect

You may disable Gmail Connect in the App, where available, or by revoking access through your Google Account. After that, TicketSaver will no longer be able to manage Gmail settings on your behalf. We may attempt to clean up forwarding settings created by TicketSaver, but you remain responsible for checking your Gmail account and removing or adjusting any forwarding or filter rules if needed.

Feature limitations

We do not guarantee that Gmail Connect will work with every Gmail or Google Workspace account, with every mail pattern, or without interruption. Gmail Connect may stop working or behave differently if Google changes its products, APIs, policies, or technical requirements.


Ticket Recognition and Storage

TicketSaver uses automated systems to determine whether forwarded content is likely to be ticket-related. If content is classified as relevant, it may be stored and displayed in the App. If it is classified as not relevant, it may be rejected from in-app storage.

TicketSaver does not guarantee that every relevant ticket email will be captured, that every irrelevant email will be excluded, or that automated classification will always be correct.

TicketSaver is a convenience tool. You should keep original ticket emails, files, or confirmations available outside the App where access to a ticket is important.


No Guarantee of Ticket Validity

  • TicketSaver does not issue, validate, authenticate, or guarantee any ticket.
  • Event organizers, venues, airlines, hotels, and other third parties remain solely responsible for admission, access, reservations, and ticket validity.
  • TicketSaver is not responsible if a ticket or confirmation is invalid, duplicated, cancelled, expired, rejected, misused, or not accepted.

Premium and Subscriptions

  • Some features require an active Premium subscription.
  • Subscriptions are sold, billed, renewed, and refunded by Apple under App Store rules.
  • The subscription price, trial period, renewal period, and cancellation terms are shown in the App Store purchase flow before purchase.
  • Premium entitlement may be linked to both your TicketSaver account and your Apple subscription status.
  • We may validate subscriptions, receipts, account ownership, device usage, and free-trial eligibility to prevent fraud, abuse, account sharing, and unauthorized subscription transfers.
  • A Premium account may be limited to a reasonable number of active devices. If the device limit is reached, you may be asked to use Premium on the current device instead, which may sign out or deactivate another device.
  • If Premium ends, your account may revert to free-tier limits. Some Premium-only functionality may become unavailable until Premium is restored.

Subscription Management and Account Deletion

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled through Apple in time.
  • Deleting your TicketSaver account does not cancel your Apple subscription.
  • If you want to stop being charged, you must cancel via your Apple ID subscription settings.

Refunds

Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and charge handling are governed by Apple’s terms and App Store policies. TicketSaver does not control Apple’s billing process and generally cannot issue App Store refunds directly.


Acceptable Use

You may not use TicketSaver to:

  • Violate applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Store or process unlawful, forged, stolen, or fraudulent ticket material.
  • Upload malware, spam, or harmful code.
  • Attempt to bypass our fraud-prevention, subscription, or account security systems.
  • Use email forwarding features to create a general email archive or to mass-forward unrelated mail.
  • Forward emails or attachments you are not authorized to disclose.
  • Use Gmail Connect in a way that violates Google’s terms or your organization’s rules.

Anti-Abuse and Security

We may use reasonable technical, account, device, subscription, and processing controls to protect the Service, detect abuse, monitor processing volume, and prevent fraud, account sharing, repeated trial abuse, or misuse of email forwarding.


Third-Party Services

The App depends on third-party services such as Apple, Firebase, Google, Facebook, and Mailgun. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, API changes, or independent acts of those third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.


Availability and Changes to the Service

We may modify, improve, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time for operational, legal, security, or business reasons. We may also change or remove integrations such as Gmail Connect if required by technical, policy, or legal developments.


Beta or Experimental Features

Some features may be marked or treated as experimental. Those features may change, contain errors, or be withdrawn without notice.


Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect ticket recognition, permanent data preservation, successful email forwarding, successful Gmail filter behavior, or that tickets or confirmations stored in the App will be valid or accepted by third parties.

You are responsible for keeping any original tickets, confirmations, and backups that are important to you.


Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss of opportunity.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by third-party platforms, ticket issuers, venues, email providers, Apple, Google, or your own configuration choices.
  • For direct damages arising from the Service, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to TicketSaver for Premium during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

This section does not affect rights that consumers cannot waive under applicable law.


Consumer Law Carve-Out

If you are a consumer, these Terms do not deprive you of mandatory protections granted by the law of your country of residence. Any clause that would be unenforceable under mandatory consumer law must be read subject to that law.


Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, if your unlawful use of the Service, your intentional misconduct, or your breach of these Terms causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you agree to compensate us for the reasonably foreseeable losses directly resulting from that claim. This clause does not apply more broadly than permitted under applicable consumer law.


Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, engage in fraud, or create legal or security risk. Where appropriate, we may first limit features or give you an opportunity to correct the issue.


Acceptance of Terms and Privacy Policy

Use of the App requires acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We may keep records of when and which version you accepted. If we make material changes, continued use may require renewed acknowledgment.


Severability and Waiver

If part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.


Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.


Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, except to the extent mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring claims before the courts of your country of residence. We do not seek to exclude any mandatory forum rights you may have under applicable consumer law.


Notices

We may provide notices by email, in-app messaging, website notice, or other reasonable electronic means.
